Verifying RFC Connection in SAP Solution Manager

To verify if the RFC connection created by TA appears in SAP Solution Manager:

1. Log in to SAP Solution Manager.

2. Expand Common Tasks and click Schedule Jobs. The Job Scheduling Assistant page: Step 1 (Initial) appears.

3. Enter this information on the Job Scheduling Assistant: Step 1 (Initial) page:

   • Technical System – Name of the technical system (e.g., SPA).

   • (Optional) Client – Name of the client.

   • Scheduler – Type of scheduler (use SMSE).

     Note: Ensure that the Schedule job directly is selected to schedule jobs using an external scheduler.

4. Click Next. The Job Scheduling Assistant: Step 4 (Submit Job) page appears. The RFC Connection field in the Schedule section displays the name of the RFC Destination created in TA.

5. Click Scheduler Management.

6. Ensure that the RFC connection created in TA appears in the list of destination names.
