Optimizing TA Performance

Note: Any component (master, client manager, etc) running on java 17 will not start if “-XX:PermSize=XXX -XX:MaxPermsize=XXX” parameters are present in the JVMARGS. They must be removed from all *.props files for that component to start.

Optimization and tuning is an exact science which is why it is critical to be able to recognize which parts of the system are being stressed (monitoring) and then knowing what parameters should be adjusted to reduce that stress (tuning).
