Uninstalling the Agent

The uninstallation procedure will not be successful if the agent is running. Stop the agent before removing the Agent for OVMS.

To uninstall the agent:

Check the status of the agent to verify that it is not running by entering:
```
$ tagent <agent name> status
```
- If the status check shows the agent is not running, proceed to the next step.
- If the status check shows the agent is running, stop the agent by entering:
```
$ tagent <agent name> stop
```
Ask your OVMS administrator to remove the agent directory and its contents when the agent is stopped.
